The ear pads are like super soft pillows they are so comfortable BUT they wouldn't fit over my ears so they slapped my ears over my head. The sound quality is good enough that I almost kept it despite the headband's discomfort. The headband is extremely stiff and either fits your head or you need a metalhead friend to sort you out. I have a big head and they fit the skull very snugly. If you have a small head and small ears, these are your dream headphones.
