I bought these to hold the row caps in place with 1/2 Pex, nothing else worked either too big or too small. If you don't use them as intended, don't expect the little orange tips to stay in place. They don't matter if they're being used to hold bedspreads (or quilts, as in a video), they still clip onto 1/2 PEX, PVC, etc and hold them in place. Even in a storm, it does not slip and does not fly away. The small orange tips are designed to protect artwork when used with canvas or paper and held by the island. You can put them back on straight away, no big deal. For row covers with 1/2 Pex, perfect.
