Wow! I was looking through pattern books and this little set popped up on my want list. . Well, not exactly small, it's 20.87 inches wide and 14.17 inches tall. I thought it was cute as hell and really reasonably priced, not a book but I bought it anyway. When it arrived I was amazed at the quality of the kit. First, the packaging itself. Thick plastic with a zipper. This kit will travel really well. Next comes the fabric. Yes, it's just Aida, but a little softer than usual, and the edges are actually finished. This is the first time I've bought a kit where the fabric edge is so carefully finished, saving me about 6 hours of manual tying. Then a pattern, on good quality paper, printed big enough for even these old eyes to see. Dental floss, I don't know which company, but it has a beautiful shine. The thread list is DMC, so I don't have to go online and "hopefully" find a conversion table. I don't know when I'll find time to embroider it, but it's beautiful!
