Won't fit on window latches as another reviewer noted. To attach the end of a window latch, you must first remove the latch and then either "shape" the cable end with a keyhole knife or bend a .10" thick steel tab to insert the cable end. And there's very little room to grab onto the tongue. The other end fits a twist grip. Tailgate latch, yes the cable goes to both ends but access is terrible. What makes the tailgate latch difficult is that the cable has to be bent well over 180 degrees to match the slots and of course it just wants to come back a lot . It therefore takes a lot of fiddling and finger strength to finally get the second end to retract.
