I carry a mini bag for my daily handbag and the strap of this bag is 2 inches wide. Unfortunately these hooks are not designed for a strap this width - it just keeps falling off. So if you're looking to hang a bag with a wider strap, these may not be the right fit for you. I'd only deduct half a star for this, but I'm going with a full one as it meant I had to leave one of my old wire headrest hooks in place (and it's a bit awkward to move around with someone in the passenger seat ). But for purses with narrower handles or for shopping bags? It is great! Sometimes I carry something in one of my reusable Envirosax bags that I need to keep upright, and because the bags are so roomy, it's not uncommon for things to shift when I put them on the floor or the seat. However, I can hang the bag on a hook and everything stays upright and stable. They rotate very easily to hang in front of or behind the seat, and even with a few hand injuries I had no problem getting these hooks on and off the headrest posts.
