Fine transformers in power converters

This device does exactly what you need without compromise or fuss. Of course, your success depends on selecting the appropriate voltage to meet the needs of your device PLUS the ability to handle the over-voltage encountered at startup. It is generally recommended to use two to three times the nominal voltage. I bought this device mainly to launch the Arzum Mirra 850W Turkish-Greek coffee pot. (http://www.amazon.com/Quality-Renowned-Turkish-Electric-Stainless/dp/B00GO45NDA/ref=sr_1_2?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1400703963&sr=1-2) The unit has been working great for the last month . It works with all the different plugs that European devices have and even allows you to run 110 devices at the same time (assuming you don't go beyond that, of course). As you can see from the specs it's quite heavy and bulky, but I believe that's what you get for this level of performance. It doesn't make a noticeable noise or smell unless you're standing directly in front of it, but it's very weak and I don't feel like it's any worse than other devices. You can certainly minimize this potential inconvenience by turning off the switch on the back of the device when not in use. I recommend this device without hesitation.
