I ordered this thinking it was leather as advertised but it is not. It's vinyl and it definitely looks and feels like it. The latch on the lid broke on the second day. I've only dealt with it twice and not aggressively. It's a roomy backpack with lots of pockets to keep things organized, which is one of the reasons I chose it. But judging by the price, I should have guessed it wasn't leather. I will return for the above reasons. A good backpack if you're not looking for leather and don't mind vinyl.
