Review on 💪 Enhance Efficiency with the Wilkins 34 70XL Pressure Regulator by Austin Arvayo

It replaced a 12 year old Cash Acme at my home on the island of Hawaii where the water pressure in the area is about 110 psi. The old machine was unstable and the mild steel bell housing was badly rusted. The replacement Zurn 70XL is slightly longer than the replaced unit, but the water line is HDPE, so there was a lot of flexibility with the installation. Hawaii is a very harsh environment (humidity, salty air) so I replaced the standard mild steel set screw and locknut with stainless steel (3/8 x 2 x 16 tpi) as shown in the photo. I was able to use the existing tail section and union nut. My 70XL was made in Thailand. I've settled on 44psi where it stays stable.
