Maybe it's just that I haven't bought a battery in awhile, but this came very nicely packaged. If you're looking at this battery, chances are you're an old guy claiming in your head to be middle aged and just dug up an old RC car you had 20+ years ago and are trying to revive it.Yes, this will work. It replaced my 20 year old old 1500mah so this one definitely has more run time. The days of the Ni-Cad batteries are gone. The new stuff is either LiPo or NiMh. The NiMh stuff is just easier for maintenance. Just keep a charge on it when stored, doesn't have to be at 50%. It's less dense than LiPo and therefore more stable and less need to worry about fires and stuff like that. Getting a new battery for an old RC is already a huge step up. My HPI RS4 Pro 2 is just as quick as I last remembered. Can't imagine putting a LiPo in there. Not even sure my ESC can handle it and I wouldn't know what discharge rating it can endure.For an easy revival of an old RC, just click buy.
