Review on LongBay Women'S Fur Bootie Slippers: Memory Foam House Shoes With Plush Fleece & Warm Curly Design by Alejandro Anaya

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Warm but a bit weird.

Once you get these on, they are very cozy, but I must say, they are something of a struggle to get on in the first place! The fabric is warm and soft (definite plus!) but there is little to no stretch in it (which makes it hard to slip them on over your heel as there is also no zipper or other fastener to undo to make the opening larger). I could live with that okay if that was all, but in addition, the sole is very narrow for the size of the upper so you constantly feel like you are sort of slipping off and walking on the side of the slipper. (One other minor thing is that without looking at the bottom of the shoe, you can't tell right from left--they look identical except for the sole. I put them on the wrong foot twice before I figured out how to tell.)Be advised that these run really small. I usually wear a 10 but since I have learned that shoes made in China seem to run small, I ordered an 11. Unfortunately, these run about 2 sizes too small so even with the larger size, my toes come right to the end of the slipper. Given the extra room in the box of the shoe, it doesn't make them uncomfortably tight or anything, but I could definitely use a bit more toe room. I suggest, if possible, you order at least one, possibly two sizes up from your normal size--depending upon how roomy you would like these to be.I would like to have given these a 4-star rating, but the several minor problems taken together make 3-stars more appropriate.

Pros
  • The slippers are machine washable, so you can easily keep them clean and ready to wear whenever you need them
Cons
  • The slippers may not be suitable for those with foot odor issues
