I bought these for bi sport rides and they work great. There are good videos on YouTube showing how to break in your boots before you wear them. Took about 2 or 3 rides to really break them in but now they work great. Dollar for dollar, good value. These aren't the most comfortable boots for walking around town while stopped, but they can be managed. The protection is amazing as I dropped my bike right on my ankle and leg and didn't hurt my leg or boot. I know I would have twisted or injured myself in other softer adventure boots.
