I started doing the T25 workout and started getting pain in my legs (shin splints). Ended up buying these to see if they would help. It seems like they did help with the pain, both during and after working out. I left them on for a little bit after working out. Seems to help.Unbeknownst to me, these socks also come with a pre workout of their own. Yup, you read that right. They'll help build up a sweat prior to working out. How? Simply by trying to put them on is how. They are very tight. I ordered a size above what my normal "size" is due to other reviews and I'm glad I did. A large fits like a small around your feet/legs, but has a large(r) height to the sock. I had to fold down the top of the sock so it didn't go over my knees. No big deal.Rated 5/5 for the fact that they help alleviate shin splints (for me, anyways), but docked a star due to price, fitment, and lack of compression around ankles (in comparison to upper calf area). Perhaps I'm just not used to the whole "compression clothing" world? You be the judge. Nonetheless, they seem to be well manufactured. They have survived several wash cycles without losing its compression abilities. I would buy a couple other pairs if it weren't for the price.
