Review on Salomon GTX Speedcross 5 Men's Trail Running Shoes by Tony Basler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality training shoes

Many years ago I had a pair of Salomon hiking shoes that were comfortable and durable so I decided to try these shoes. A week later I give them a thumbs up. Below are some pros and cons: Pros: * High quality material and workmanship * Comfortable * Light weight * Solid profile * Easy to slip on and laces tighten * Laces tuck into shoe tongue Cons: * Narrow * Tight at first but it stretches after that from a few signs of wear * Color slightly changed. They look gray on Revain but mine have a bluish cast to them. A solid profile for trails, not pavements. If you're torn between shoe sizes depending on the brand, choose the larger size. I like them for the gym because they are functional, attractive and not the standard shoe that everyone else wears. Finally, the shoes are not to blame, but the delivery time was much longer than other Revain products. If you need shoes ASAP, try elsewhere.
