All of the Fox shocks I just installed on my 2001 TJ fit right backwards compared to the shocks I removed. Nothing wrong with that, I just found it weird. Also, on the steering stabilizer, I had to slightly undercut the gasket on the bushing that was going to go into use on the Jeep, which may have been a problem I caused as the Jeep was used extensively off-road. . Although so far so good. The ride is vastly improved over the 10 year old shocks I removed. This is a rear shock for TJ with 2.5"-3.5" lift. My TJ has a 3" Teraflex jack, I had to raise the rear axle over an inch to attach the shock. Minuses for the dampers not being compressed.
