Not so good with bedding

I measured the duvet because it was the wrong size, it was 77 inches instead of 80 I know it's silly to pick on it but these duvets aren't cheap so somewhat disappointing. He also throws like crazy right out of the bag. I give it to him gently and the weight is pretty decent. Edit: I may have received a defective one but I followed the washing instructions to help detach it and my washer and dryer are full of beads and the duvet will be returned this weekend.
