Clever idea and not that expensive. The bag is basically a large icepack within the container. I have used it for several items including chocolate. It kept chilled items chilled, and non-chilled items from melting. Over a period of 7 hours in a car that was 50-60 degrees the packs unfroze, but the beverages were still cool.I would not depend on this bag to keep wine or other beverages chilled over a long period if the weather was hot. Hard side coolers with lots of ice work much better, but the bag is compact and well made.The inside is plastic like most soft side coolers and can be wiped down easily.It fits easily in my freezer and was there for over 24 hours.
