This is the first if not the only product I have given 1 star. The rest of the shirt is ok. The reason I gave this 1 star is because this item gave me a severe case of acne vulgaris overnight after wearing it for about 3 hours, generously considering the travel time and the gym. I shower immediately after the gym when I get home. I put on this item right out of the box and went straight to the gym. I got what looked like a severe rash that turned into scars very quickly and I finally realized I needed to see a specialist. My back now looks like I've had acne for YEARS, while my chest is clearly marked as well. My dermatologist diagnosed me with acne vulgaris. I've never had a major problem with acne in my life. And I've been wearing gym clothes for years and nothing even remotely resembles what I captured in this shirt. I want to reiterate that I am NOT allergic to polyester and NOT allergic to spandex, the two materials that this tag is said to be made of. Another example: I was satisfied with the pants I received in the same order from the same company. Either the material is not what they say or there was some kind of bacteria on the t-shirt that allowed this infection to multiply. Neither of these cases is acceptable. To cure it I now have to use a special sulfuric rinse twice a day to inhibit bacterial growth, an antibiotic twice a day and benzoyl peroxide at night. All 3 drugs are prescribed by a dermatologist. And the bad is getting worse (literally) because the pimples are spreading more to the front of my shoulders. Maybe I'm just unlucky and nobody will have the same problem as me. But my god, I didn't expect to wear a shirt and then be faced with a bad case of acne, 3 daily prescriptions, visits to the dermatologist and a crash in my self esteem. Self respect in trying to give real weight to this essay I felt compelled to write. I am a real person who actually purchased this item and I would love it if I could go back in time and choose not to deal with this mess.
