These embroidery scissors and thimble make a great gift or stocking set for anyone who does crafts and needs something handy to trim threads. I received an all gold pair with a purple tassel and they looked very elegant together. At first I thought I would use them as gifts but they looked like what I would like for myself. Over the years of my life, when I get something very nice, I find a way to give it as a gift and not keep it for myself. Once, when I looked around my house, I could hardly tell there was a craftsman living there because I was giving away so many things that I had made myself. I try to remind myself that I am important too and that I deserve nice things. These scissors are what I like and give me. They cut beautifully.
