They are plastic and made in China
being from Le Creuset I expected more than they are. They look good and work well, but the same goes for the cheaper ones from other places. I was expecting metal parts inside, but they're all plastic, so they probably won't last long. In my opinion they are overpriced and you are basically paying for their colour. We have a lot of Le Creuset Flame kitchenware to go well with everything we have.
