Useless if you use it for iPad with USB C connector

This product will not work if you have an iPad with USB C connector. It comes with a USB-C adapter, so it makes sense that it would work with an Apple device that has a USB-C rather than Lightning connector, but it doesn't. Technical support did not help. Do not purchase this item if you have a USB-C connection on your iPad.
