It is almost impossible to remove the mouse transceiver from the bracket next to the battery. There is no software to configure additional buttons. Apparently the engineers who designed this didn't do any test marketing at all. There is no notch or anything to make it easier to grab and remove the transceiver. I just leave it plugged into my laptop all the time because I will NOT be going through this every time I use it. What a stupid design. The USB connection is configured normally. Search for drivers on the network to control the functions of additional buttons, but to no avail.
