This product hasn't changed in decades. What is good. No new and improved formulas, bad smells or annoying packaging. Simply fantastic soap in a handy jar with a hole big enough to fit a measuring spoon or your hand and no corners to snag and drop. It still outperforms any other soap. My mother used it to wash her horses and dogs, my stepmother used it to wash quilts, I used it for my hair in a pinch and more regularly for delicate fabrics like silk. It doesn't irritate my skin or my dog (I use it for its intended purpose). It washes off with cold water, is odorless, leaves no residue, and will never stain colors or corrode materials (while whites stay white). A tablespoon does the same thing as a cup of laundry detergent. Although it used to be widely available in grocery stores, for some reason it's hard to find. I was glad it was available through Revain. Orvus is too good for his own success; it goes a long way and never spoils. If it gets hard, just put it in a warm place and it will turn back to a viscous liquid. This bath will last me a few years. In view of this and its quality, the price is right.
