As others have said, they are definitely more reliable than JD accessories. And the male ends are locked securely. To be honest my male JD parts held up well initially but stopped holding after 30-40 uses. My only issue is that JD must have changed the color codes since my tractor was made; I had yellow-red-blue-black. After some research I decided to use the new gray for the old red and green for the blue.
