Great machine, easy to set up I called comcast when ordering online and gave them the MAC address ahead of time. Since I don't have cellular service where I installed this unit, only Wi-Fi calling, I wanted to make sure all the information was set up beforehand. So I showed up where I had set it up, that was my secluded camp. I plugged in my cord, plugged it in, all the lights turned blue! Ideal! To test with Comcast how they force you to do this, I took a laptop connected to the standard Wi-Fi network that the device was broadcasting. Super connected. Then I opened the browser and the Comcast setup screen was right there. I logged into Comcast, it reported successfully and waited for the modem to restart. Rebooted twice and done. Easiest reinstall I've ever done! I subscribe to the Comcast 400Mbps plan and my download on the 5GHz channel is 460-480Mbps consistently. I've attached a picture of the results of my lightning fast speed test! The WLAN range is sufficient for me and better than with my previous router. The Arris configuration is easily accessible by going to 196.168.0.1. Login And it's all there. Any problems people had when setting up this model on Comcast are now a thing of the past. Setup was easy, speed is better than what I bought, WiFi range is great, and router settings are easily accessible. Overall 5 stars!
