Doesn't work dry clean only

We tried this skirt once when we slept with our 20 month old who was exercising during the day. She peed and the water seeped through her heavy sweatpants, her skirt, her sleeping bag and onto the mattress cover. It doesn't usually fill the diaper, so I wouldn't say it was an excessive amount of urine. When I went to wash the skirt, I noticed that it was "dry cleaned only". Why make something designed to collect urine for everyday use only in dry cleaning? Do not buy this product. We'll throw it away.
