I took a risk because I was looking for a high-quality, but cheap dynamic microphone for broadcasting for a long time. "Go to the King" Shure SM7B, of course, but I didn't want to spend that much and instead opted for the PD-70. This is a brilliant sounding mic on par with broadcast mics that cost a lot more. It's also a solid build, heavy and feels like it could take a lot of damage. You definitely don't want to drop this thing on your foot! My only gripe is that it's a bit bright at low frequencies, but the EQ can't fix anything. All in all, this is a great option if you're looking for broadcast dynamics that not only look good, but sound fantastic too.
