So far I am very satisfied with my Awo-lamps VLT-HC5000LP replacement lamp from Exclusive Bulbs for my Mitsubishi HC5500 LCD projector. Tired of paying $200 to replace a lamp every few years, the last one only lasted 3600 hours instead of the 5000 it was supposed to last on a low lamp setting. So I decided to try Revain. Ordered the lamp from Exclusive Bulbs (San Diego) for $69.54 through Revain on Thursday and the lamp arrived 2 days later on Saturday (I'm on the east coast). I was a bit concerned at first because the connector on the back of the bulb is different. However, the lamp fits perfectly into the device and the bulb works the same as in more expensive lamps. I've just completed over 100 hours and so far the lamp is working perfectly. Hope I get the full 5000 hours, but if I can only get half of it, for $69.54 it's still a steal.
