So this basket is a lot bigger than I expected. I was thinking of the size of a magazine holder and it's more like the size of a clothes hamper. Since I use it to store various plaids in my living room, this is not a significant issue. Especially if your dog (like mine) thinks I've just bought him a nice, comfy bed. I've seen similar ones at HG and PB for between $60 and $75, and there's really no reason to spend that much money when this is a stylish, functional, and quite beautiful addition to my living room.
