Purchased 2 months ago. I had a hard time brushing my 4 year old's teeth and my 8 year old is still not good at brushing his teeth. Both are at high risk of tooth decay and have had multiple tooth decay to prove it. I bought the small blue for my 4 year old and the medium blue for my 8 year old. There are 3 modes: I would call it medium, high and pulsating. It turns off after 50 seconds. It is waterproof, has a detachable toothbrush head for cleaning and a USB cable for the base. Simply place your toothbrush on the charger and connect the charger to a power source using the USB cable. The indicator flashes while charging. There is a warning on the label that metal objects should not be placed on the charger to avoid burns. It doesn't replace regular brushing, but it certainly helps. The bristles are very soft and we move them back and forth because the vibration doesn't create enough friction. My 4 year old is more cooperative and this brush makes it easy to apply sudsy xylitol toothpaste to all of his teeth. It even initiates brushing your teeth before bed. That's a great achievement, but it could also be that he's older and not a kid. My boys are very picky, but they love the strawberry flavor of the frothy Lemon Rabbit Toothpaste. I hope for good news next time I visit the dentist. The time will show.
