**update at 8 monthsHe still isn't really interested in the mitt overall. He doesn't like to put it on his hands and would prefer to hold it. Durability- the item hasn't been used much in the last 8 months. Which is why it still looks like it did out of the box. I will say though that the stiching and silicone pieces haven't faded or frayed when we washed or wiped it down.Durability is certainly there. It's cute and simple, but my 6 month old just grabs it with both hands and chews on it for 20 seconds before going to another toy. When he was younger - 4 months and teething, we put this on as a mitten. He didn't really like it then and he doesn't like it now. In fact, at 6 months, we aren't able to put the mitt on his hand because of how it sits on his hand. It's uncomfortable.
