Very bright. People on the bike path are often shocked when hit by this light at full power. It's too bright for a bike lane, but perfect for dark country roads or highways! In the city I use lower intensity settings because people complain too much about the brightness. It charges fairly quickly and I haven't run out of battery even after many hours of use (up to 10 so far). One complaint is that the connector between the battery and the light (which you unplug daily to charge) is very tight when fully locked for driving. It can be really painful to open and sometimes requires some effort. If you don't fully engage it, the light will go out on bumps/shocks, requiring you to engage almost firmly. This might just be an issue with my device, but it might be a common problem, especially if you don't have strong hands/fingers. I wouldn't advise NOT buying it for this purpose, but be aware that if it's that tight you may need to use a tool to remove it. All in all a very bright light with a few useful settings at a good price. Would recommend and five stars for value.
