I bought this router for my new Verizon DSL line and connected ethernet cables from the DSL modem to this router and from the router to one of my computers. However, when I tried to set up the router on the D-Link website, I clicked the 'Start Wizard' button there, but got no response. Then I changed the D-Link firmware version 2.28 to the 2.37 version offered on their website, but it didn't help, the "master" button remained completely inactive. Wizard, with no explanation or apology for the dead wizard. Following these instructions, I got into a vicious cycle that kept bringing me back to the same WAN Settings page. I described it to D-Link and they gave me further instructions to bypass this wizard, again with no comment as to why the previous ones didn't work. These new instructions created the same loop for the same WAN Settings page over and over again on their website. I have told D-Link that I cannot use a DSL connection without first configuring their router, which it has to go through before it gets to my computer, but they added to their latest instructions that if they always still not working, "power off the modem for a minute" and then try again. They never explained how I can turn off the modem that isn't turned on at all, so it turns out I can only set up their router with a working DSL modem, but first I need to set up their router before I can get that DSL modem. Work is a typical chicken and egg problem. Until D-Link can fix their website to include what appears to be a simple setup of their router, and until their tech support can understand the questions being sent to them, this router is useless to me. .
