So in order to use something else, I have to keep swapping out items. Articles like that? Well, there's an external CD drive, a video conferencing light, and various flash drives. They really had to include at least one other USB port. For monitors, only the latest/latest will work. So here's what I did, upgraded my monitors. Connections on this dock as others have pointed out BUT there are two major downsides: 1) you can't use the headset with this dock as it causes a slight hum or hum. I tried connecting iPhone headphones directly to SP6 - they're still there. Tried using the SP6's built-in mic and speakers - still there. Tried three different headsets (plugs) - still there. Tried two different Bluetooth headsets - still there. The moment you disconnect the dock, everything is fine with ALL headsets and only the computer microphone and speakers. Not a very useful solution if you need a second monitor for video conferencing. 2) Does not work with some monitors. Why? No idea. I have almost every adapter under the sun and yet the two external monitors I have don't display ANYTHING. I have the necessary drivers, I updated everything, even my IT specialist couldn't figure it out. So I sold one monitor and returned another. All in all not the best product.
