Review on 💫 Renewed Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Fully Unlocked (128GB, Prism Cube Black) by Hoon Alvin ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

The stylish, colorful Amoled screen, ample internal capacity, the option to add an additional SD card, which I did right away, the presence of two SIM cards, which is not a bad thing, and one of the crucial features—a reasonably strong battery and quick charging—cannot help but make us happy! However, I didn't really notice this in terms of performance. The RAM and CPU are also equal. Prior to that, there was an Honor9 with obviously much worse characteristics, but it worked quickly. However, after installing all the Honor-specific Samsung apps, I began to experience periodic freezes in the phone, which is the first negative. It appears that it lacks 6 gigabytes of RAM. The camera is the second drawback because I couldn't tell the difference between the A71 and my previous Honor. Even though I know this isn't a premium part, I still had high hopes! And the darn fingerprint scanner is the biggest drawback I had. I'm not sure how it functions in the Galaxy S20 and S21's premium segment, but the A71 has terrible performance! For instance, in my last Honor device, all it took was a gentle touch to activate the screen unlock, and I had three different fingers recorded. I read in the reviews that you need to register one finger three times in order for the print to function better, but here it's just total horror; you have to press the screen like dammit numerous times for it to work. Yes, I did it, and things started to work a little bit better, but ultimately, only I can unlock the phone using my fingerprint, and I can't use my other finger either. Most importantly, I still have to press the screen firmly to make it work. Although the issue is not entirely resolved and the phone continues to plan ahead, it worked. Yet, there is still a possibility that the fingerprint will not be recognized. Guys, this is the final conclusion. Samsung hasn't made any changes in this area for the past six years. I previously owned a Samsung S5, but I didn't use the fingerprint scanner there because it wasn't any worse than it is now because I actively utilized it on Honor.

Pros
  • Attractive and trendy smartphone with a vibrant Super Amoled screen, storage space, and expansion slots. rapid charging, a strong battery, and microSD memory
Cons
  • fingerprint reader Performance is still mediocre given the processor and RAM available.
