This mahjong deck is perfect for a game night when drinks and/or snacks are also on the table. The cards are made of plastic, so if you spill anything, it will be washed up immediately. The downside to this is that the cards are very slick, making them not easy to hold or store in neat piles. If you have never played you will need to find the instructions as this set does not come with them. This is stated in the product description so it was my fault for not noticing. I've been playing around but years have passed so I've looked for instructions and found them easily enough. You should also note that if you're unfamiliar with the symbols on these cards and can't read Chinese, you'll also need to look them up. In summary, this is a good set, but there are comparable options that come with instructions and information.
