This is a very advanced pattern that could be a lot easier for us laypeople - we still have to sew on the sleeves. When the sleeves were finally sorted out, my mom accidentally sewed one of them inside out and had to be attacked with a seam ripper again. Fewer and fewer people are sewing and you don't have to wonder why when they aren't making very practical patterns anymore! The fitted sleeves are RIGID. My mother has been sewing for forty years, it has taken hours and hours and it is not half done yet.
