If you are looking for a side rail for your cot then this is the product for you. I'm taking off a star because I don't think the assembly was easy on the one hand. The silver piece that snaps into place was very stiff and I had to smack it on the floor to snap it into place. The instructions also say that you need 2 people for the last step, but I don't think that's right, I could do it myself. When I first opened the package I thought it would be short, but it does have an extension cord. My daughter sleeps very well and doesn't hit the rails. I also tucked the straps between the mattress because they are very long. The instructions also show that the plastic part that wedged between the mattress and the bed out protrudes, but my daughter pushed it and they fell down, so I re -positioned them so that they did not protrude on the bed.
