It says Retinol Serun 2.0% but the ingredients don't state the form of vitamin A so I don't think this product contains retinol. I think the benefits are in the hyaluronic acid. Serum usually means that it helps other products, like moisturizers, penetrate deeper into the skin. It absorbs a little, but it's mostly a topical moisturizer. I don't think the word "serum" should be on it. It's cheap enough that I used it all the way. I put it on my face, neck and hands every night with a retinol cream. The cream I use contains retinyl palmitate.
