I took a compact camera for street photography. Before that, I took a canon eos 2022d, which you can’t take with you for a simple walk. The new camera fits easily into my pants pocket and allows me to capture any moment I like. At the wide end, the lens is fast. I did not use digital zoom, the usual zoom suits. During the walk, it was not possible to remove at least half of the battery, I took about 60 shots without a flash.
