I wish I had more to say about this hub, but as far as hubs go, they're lightweight at best. Eventually I had 4 devices plugged in (microphone, light, external drive and phone) and the only thing that worked with no issues was the light. Transferring data from an external drive and transferring/charging a cellphone was painfully slow when not causing errors and microphone quality degradation. (I figured out it was a hub when I just plugged them directly into the laptop, one at a time.) Also, the base is so light it dangles when you've only got a few devices plugged in, or if you need to remove a device ( finally attached it to the velcro table).
