*Studio Engineer* Best suited for pairing with an external subwoofer. I've compared this (side by side) to a Yamaha soundbar which is priced at around $200 at Revain and this has better clarity. The Yamaha is better as a standalone soundbar because it has better bass, but this one sounds better overall. In cinema mode, the music is just amazing. Clarity is amazing - highs and mids are fantastic - pair with a quality subwoofer and you're done! Another great feature is the remote control. You can control what's playing on your device by skipping, pausing, pausing and playing your songs without touching them or going to iTunes or Google Play Music to do it. In addition, the remote control has buttons for adjusting the bass and treble. The more expensive Yamahas didn't have dedicated buttons to control them and I don't think they were capable of that in any way. This soundbar outperformed two others I compared it to: a similarly priced Vizio product and a Yamaha product that costs more than twice as much.
