Great price for a solid traditional keyboard

I've just received this keyboard and I'm excited to finally try it out in a month with a cheap, hassle BT keyboard replacement after my Logitech BT keyboard (K811) died . I didn't want to spend $100 to replace a keyboard that only lasts about three years. So I decided to try this "LumsBurry". I want to get rid of something I don't like about this keyboard so far: the backspace key is too far to the right of the standard typing keys. You REALLY have to stretch out your pinky to press the backspace key, as not only is it a bit larger than you might be used to on this keyboard, but it also has an extra key between the quotation mark key and the backspace (backslash, vertical slash) key. button ). I mainly use Mac OS at home, although I also need to use a Windows PC (Parallels doesn't work with some of our programs). I started using the keyboard on Mac OS X. The operating system prompted me to do a basic keyboard confirmation (shift key layout) and after a few seconds the keyboard was confirmed. I started writing this review on a Mac and then switched to PC by unplugging the keyboard from the Mac (USB hub) and plugging it directly into my Windows laptop (direct USB). A keyboard connection message appeared in Windows 10, but my ability to use the keyboard was not interrupted. I unplugged it from the PC, plugged it back into the Mac and was able to continue working seamlessly on the Mac. Great - a real plug-n-play. This is not possible with a BT keyboard. No loss of performance with plug-play mechanical keyboard. One important difference between Windows/Mac: To use the cut and paste key combination, use the "WIN" key on this mechanical keyboard instead of the "Ctrl" key on the native Mac keyboard. Luckily, the two buttons are in the same relative position, so you won't make/many mistakes. I'm pleasantly surprised that some function keys even work on Mac OS X - mainly music control keys - pause, stop, next/previous track, volume up/down, mute. Maybe I can learn how to map other key combinations to other function keys. I also like that the keys are of the old-fashioned mechanical type. They have a very nice return click. There is no noise membrane here. This is a serious work keyboard, meaning I'm typing faster and more productive. Everything just works. In addition, the lighting function is extremely simple - one click on the clearly marked lighting button to turn it on and another to turn it off. I don't know how the under-keyboard backlight affects battery or computer performance. But it's a massive improvement over BT's counter-intuitive backlit keyboard solutions. I would have preferred a muted white/amber light, but I'm glad there's a backlight for working in dark/gloomy environments. I didn't expect the keyboard to be so big: 14.5 x 6.5 inches. . It would be worth paying more attention to the specified dimensions. But after YEARS of fragile disposable BT keyboards, I welcome a solid keyboard that will hopefully last for many years to come. The best for me: (1) No exit from BT after just a few seconds of keystrokes. So when I try to continue I get nothing or get errors due to an activation delay while typing. and (2) no need to wait for the keyboard to wake up after I leave my computer. I don't think I will ever go back to BT keyboards. For the price, this keyboard can't be beat. I will update my review if anything changes.
