This 3-speed fan has good airflow. I bought it to relieve nighttime hot flashes (yay, menopause). It's so quiet it doesn't bother my bed partner. A few things to note: The buttons fit snugly onto the fan's "feet" so they're very difficult to see in the dark. To turn off the fan, press and hold the speed button. check if it is really off. so quiet sometimes it's hard to tell. If you have long hair, tie it back so it doesn't get caught in the fan. The fan is regulated, the air flow is only in one direction. does not put pressure on the neck. You can charge it and use it at the same time. It takes about an hour to fully charge. It's kind of awkward to use wired headphones for music and this fan at the same time because every time I try to adjust the fan, my clumsy hands pull the receiver out. Also, try not to direct the airflow at your nose, otherwise you will get a sore throat if you inhale air that is too cool. sorry for the long review. UPDATE, it stopped working after two months but I liked it so much I will be buying another one.
