Just order a size or two up

I ordered this for my 8 year old a size 9-10 and it barely fits. It's not a twig and it's not fat, just firm. The suit was too short, tight and tight around her. I suspect a size 9-10 is more like a size 6 in a normal size. The lace came undone, but maybe she insisted on wearing it even though it was tight. Otherwise, it's a cute costume and little or younger kids will look adorable in it.
