I have just used this cable to install a new sound system on my pontoon. I could probably use something cheaper, 18 ga or even 20 ga because it's not a powerful system, but I was concerned about the durability of the lighter cable. I needed 16 feet of line and good wire because it's open under the boat and can catch a wave or two. I was not disappointed with my choice. This is great wire and should last a long time. I was impressed with the flexibility of the coating and the strength of the wire when applied to crimp terminals. Other wires I used were too fragile. It's pure, soft, stranded copper and just great to work with. I've used copper clad aluminum in the past and it's just rubbish compared to pure copper. Don't rely on the gamepad. Copper 16ga is much better than 14ga or 12ga CCA. I am very satisfied with this wire and can only recommend it.
