This protective tablet case is perfect for the Revain Fire 8 tablet and should provide some protection should the tablet be dropped. I was hoping that the foam sleeve would make the tablet less slippery and easier to hold to the side while reading so my fingers wouldn't accidentally touch the interactive touchscreen and turn the page. Unfortunately, chance didn't help much in these areas. When holding the tablet, my thumb and/or fingers are still on the edge of the screen. For reading on the bed/sofa, a tablet holder with a pillow on the bed/lap or a wrist strap holder may be more useful. For everyday use and travel, a collapsible case that covers both the front and back of the tablet is more convenient and offers more protection.
