Review on 🔍 Compatible with Honda Civic Driver Side Power Non-Heated Replacement Mirror - TYC 4720322 by Jonathan Lamp

First I would like to say that the mirror arrived on time and was duly delivered to avoid damage. For that alone I give it 2 stars. However, I really do not recommend this mirror as a replacement for the original Honda mirror. This mirror costs $34.47, which seems like a lot when compared to the $138 stock Honda mirror. But at least where I live, it cost $80 to paint. Given that the genuine Honda mirror comes pre-painted, that's a saving of just $23.53. Door. Actually so big that I could see right through the hole in the door. Luckily the base comes off with three screws and the old base didn't break so I replaced it. However, it's not worth bothering with just to save $23.53. After replacing the base (and gasket) with the old one, it was installed correctly and is working properly electrically. For that I give one more star. My tip: I usually have no problem buying third-party accessories. Most of the time I was very lucky. And if it were varnished I'd consider it a bargain even with the issues I had installing it. However, due to the high cost of the paint and the very sloppy fit of the base, I highly recommend buying it directly from Honda.
