These work really well AS LONG AS you keep them straight up, which is why they're not 5 star- worthy.Considering that they have the pointed spout, it would seem obvious that you're going to want to be able to point them into specific areas, and be able to move the bottle around to get it into those areas, but the tube inside the bottle goes all the way to the very bottom of the bottle, which means that it draws from the liquid at the very bottom of the bottle.What that means is that the only way to get liquid into the the tube is for the bottle to be straight up and down or there won't be any liquid coming into the tube and spraying out of it.You have to be able to pick whatever you're spraying up to meet the point of the tube, or you won't be able to continue working. I've only worked with small items of clothing so far (tie-dying), so that hasn't been too big an issue for me yet, but I can see how that could become an issue.It does a really good job of drawing almost all of the liquid out of the bottom of the bottle though, so that's good.It also suddenly sprays a burst every once in a while from out of nowhere- very bad when tie-dying dark colors.It has helpful measurements up to 250 mL on the side.
