If there's a problem with this kit and you bought it from a reseller like REI, you're probably fine. If you bought it direct from Osprey, you're screwed. Rather than attempting to provide recommendations as to whether the hipbelt is interchangeable or adjustable, or if not, whether the frame comes in a longer size with different sized hipbelts, their first response was to link to a size chart (which I used , when I bought a backpack) and "If you find the package is the wrong size, you can sell it privately."
