This thermometer is very valuable but has some disadvantages. It's accurate, easy to use and easy to read. But it's slow - very slow - it takes 10-15 seconds to reach temperature; If you need "immediately" then this won't help. Also, the tip of the probe is thicker than many other options, making it harder to penetrate the flesh.
